MIXED CHORUS Under the direction of Mrs. Heartz the Mixed Chorus was organized for the first time this year. The first appearance the chorus made was at the grade school Christ- mas program. Mary Heesch, mezzo soprano, sang “Prayer Perfect and “Velia . “Will O the Wisp and “My Heart Is a Silent Violin was sung by Janice Mundahl also a mezzo soprano. GLEE CLUB The glee club under the direction of Mrs. Heartz consists of twenty mem- bers. On April 9 the glee club entered the Region III music contest at Brookings. There are two sections the A band and the B band. The A band has played at' various school activities. SOLOISTS The Instrumental Soloists attended the contest at Milbank on February 10. Nancy Buchholtz, coronet soloist, chose as her selection “Forest Echoes’ .
