Co- editors for the first semester of the year were Marlys Landsman and Roma Fulmer. Co-editors for the last semester of the year were Joan Even and Janice Mundahl. Bill Seivert was Assistant- editor. Six members of the staff-Joan Even, Jeanette Peterson, Geneva Welsh, Carole Burlage, Mar- lys Landsman, and Roma Fulmer—attended the 29th conventional South Dakota High School Press Association Convention at Brookings on October 3.

Colleen Heffernan in the humorous division and Evonne Ekberg in the dramatic division representing the Elkton High School in the District Contest held at Egan. They both received excellent ratings. LIBRARIANS The librarians were chosen from the student body with Colleen Heffernan as head librarian. The check in and check out system is used. Several books have been pur- chased this year. Students enjoy their schedule as librarians.
