SENIOR STORY We, the class of '62, will soon be leaving the halls of E.H.S. As we pause and think back on our last four years, we remember all the fun we enjoyed. To make sure we started our senior year out right, we elected Roger Anderson as our President; Bill Hessel as Vice-President; Lina Bilbao as Secretary; Charlene Shobe, Treasurer; Cherie Nelson, Girl Representative; and Deed Scott, Boy Representative, ip Our officers worked diligently under the supervision of our class sponsors, Mr. Waller and Mr. Miller. We are very proud of those senior students who held important positions in our school. Stan Burns was elected Student Body President, Cheryl Bastien was the Student Body Secretary, and Marie Ellison was the Student Body Treasurer. Lina Bilbao was editor of the Pohob and Mary Harris worked along with her as business manager of the Pohob. Vicki Staley was editor of the PowWow,” our school newspaper. Last year our Junior Prom Tara will remind us of the work we put into it and of the pleasures and memories we received from it. Our Senior Ball Silver Bells will k also be remembered as a big success. During our four years of high school, our class was also well represented in scholastic ability, athletics, organizations, and in the music department. Even though some of us will be sad when we leave Elko High School and watch the doors close behind us, we can look back with a deep sense of satisfaction and accomp- lishment. The gardenia garden and colonial mansion of Tara. Both are winners. Gemot, the Austrian student. Who's next? Are these our sponsors?
