But graduation also means leaving many good things behind, and when it is all over and we are high school students no longer, the good times we enjoyed in high school will be only treasured memories. The dances, the classes, the games, the assemblies, even the homework--all will be remembered, but no longer participated in. And yet these precious, all-too-short moments can easily be recaptured in future years. Many times, members of the gang will get together to reminisce and re- live their high school days. Perhaps someone will bring forth an old yearbook, and the pictures on its pages will come magically to life as we laugh over the wonderful things we did together when we were young. The staff of the 1961 Pohob sincerely wishes that you may derive many hours of pleasure and satisfaction from leisurely journeys through its pages, and that it may always bring to you many happy memories of the year 1960-61 at Elko High School. ■ MIKE LIPPARELLI LEE LYON sue McAllister • 0 $ v «I X ' « •v 1 ‘ r • ELIZABETH STONER BRIAN STOWELL JIM TALLEY- tT KAREN WORLINE . A total of $1360 wes collected,' of which approximately $300 will be retained by the Pohob. The winning class was the freshmen class with $650; second, the seniors; third, the sophomores, and fourth, the juniors. Marilee Stenovich, a freshman, was high salesman for her class and for the entire school. She re- ceived a radio and a stuffed dog.
