the top Bern Seniors and feeling that we were quite able to control our conduct without a supervisor we felt that we wouldn t need any one to fill the office of Ser eant at Arms It has worked out splendid ly so far but if the time comes when we will need someone to act as such there are several large boys and irls in our class who would delight in tapping the smaller ones on the shoulder The Seniors play an active part in De Laureola we are repre sented in that organization by fourteen members When we were Sophomores we put on a play under the direc tion of MISS Gilmer called the Hoo Doo The active members of the cast were Ruth Bailey Rilla Frantzen Rosie ayo l-lelen Peterson Georgia Hanna Alexander Puccinelli ack Sutherland Herbert Clark Robert Duval and a number of others ln our unior year we produced a farm program directed by MISS Wynkoop Marjorie Simpson George Hanna Averill Boyd and Earl Roberts enacted a very effective swing song and dance Twelve Girls and boys with hoes buckets sewing and churns made an ideal farm scene The climax was capped however by our production of the play Be an Optimist on the twenty third of November under the direction of our class sponsor lVliss Roosa The cast included Evelyn Asher George Hanna Edith Warner Helen Peterson Rosie ayo Rilla Frantzen Carmon Rovers Everett Wayman Alexander Pucci- nelli ack Sutherland Herbert Clark and Fauntelle Swett. Between acts Averill Boyd and Earl Roberts accompanied themselves on the guitar and banjo and sanff some popular selections which were Ofreeted with applause. Like most Senior classes we regret our leavin the home of our most cherished school days. Vile have tried to do our best but must leave unhnished work to future classes. Soon we shall be gone but we hope we shall not be forgotten. M. O. 29 .-18... lll'-1 l'll Ll- 'IllI'Ef1l 'I ' '- - - u - . .K 1-LIII ll 'H.rf1ll1w. 0' . . . D D . .
