H S we could boast of a membership of more than half the total enrollment of the school We were fifty elght 1n all Let us not dwell on our trxals and trlbulatlons as lrreshmen b fore our mtelhgence was known to emst and was certamly not sought for by the upper classmen We have suruved and marched trlumph antly onward and here record our progress as an example for those who follow Our first meetmg was obllglnvly called for us by one of th Semors There we elected the followmg class ofhclals herald F1tZ gerald presldent Lols l-lesson vnce presldent lVlaclaren 1Vlcl:arlane secretary Blll Guldlcl sergeant at arms Red and blue were chosen as flttmg class colors Several of our class were chosen members of the Glee Club and we had two representatlves of the Pohob Staff The class party glven ln the sprlng of 1920 was a great socxal trlumph and voted the best party of the year When we took up our dutles as Sophomores we had an enroll ment of forty thlrty 91X of these had been members of our Fresrman class The year s offlclals were Gerald Fltzgerald presldent Elsb tm Dove vrce presldent Dan Hunter secretary Agnes Taber treasurer and Blll Culdlcl sergeant at arms Our accomphshments lncreased ln number we had one g1rl and two boys on the basketball teams four members of the Debatlng Club elght members of De Laureola twenty four members of the Dramatlc Club SIX members of the Boys Cnlee Club and thxrteen belongmg to the Qnrls Clee Club besldes two members on the Pohob Staff Qur bopn l-lop a masquerade w s a great success Reallzxng that half our hwh school course was over thnrty Junlors applled themselves to study and the class of 73 sped on leav1ng thus record as a memento to thelr thlrd year the track champlonshlp for 2I 22 two student government ofhclals three basketball men two members of the school debatlng teams two lawyers eleven De Laur eolans two of whom were officlals ln the club four Science Club members one representatxve IH the cast of The Importance of B ng Earnest fourteen songster rn the two Clee Clubs and four depart 26 F - 1 1 Q . . . . . 1 . . . i . . 3- .
