In a series of terrifying events, climaxed by the appearance of Alan Blair's ghost, Francis Mallory was brought to the confession of the robbery of which Alan Blair was accused. It was then discovered that Alan Blair had not been dead but only in hiding. Tod Miller was revealed as a detective and Marthy Hawk as his wife. Velma Bayne and Alan Blair, Nan Carteret and Hugh Stanton, Harriet Hotchkiss and Tommy Meadows announced their engagements after the happy solution of the mystery, This was the First attempt in a long while to bring to Elkins High School play-goers a mystery of this sort. It was well received and many feel this was an innovation which will be followed by more plays of this type. The play was sponsored by Miss Mary Willa Chambers and Miss Louise Sleeman, senior faculty advisers, and was coached, ably as always, by Mrs. Charles E. Albert.
