KT S ff iff' K-55 fsfw t K' ff' J PIRJEIFACCIE Twenty one years ago the Hrst E H S TIGER was Issued ThIs ancestor of our 1937 annual was an ambItIous, but unpre tentIous book It was small only about 6x10 and It was more lIke a newspaper than a yearbook Yet IIS pages IndIcate that the edItors were proud of theIr school and ICS actIvItIes From the fIrst TIGER grew many more, each becommg more complete As txme has passed, many dIfferent kmds of year books have been publIshed, the type each year havIng been determmed by the par tlcular perIod In whIch If was Issued The hrst copxes gave only a small part of the actIvItIes of the school As the school grew larger, the students became more adept at COmPlllDg maternal about these actIvItIes, whIch to them later became school day remembrances In the form of THE TIGER Durmg the perIod of extreme PFOSPCYIIY lIke many fashmons, the yearbook became more elaborate and larger, the S126 of the pIctures Increased, and the covers were more ornate ThIs perIod was followed by the depresslon whIch had lIS effect upon our publIcatIon, as on many other thIngs Agam the book became sImple and In expensIve In the past two or three years the trend has been to make THE TIGER an attractIve and artIstIc hIgh school book of memorIes Whether our yearbook has been a sImple pamphlet, a complete four year class hIs tory, or an elaborate annual, the object has always been to preserve for the semors and thexr classmates a record of PFCCIOUS memorIes ' w rf 7 X ,, K ll!
