RICHARD LEAKE A happy basketteer and full of fun is this blonde' haired youth. Since jim is not serious'minded. he provides his fellow classmates with ample recreation. CHARLES LOTHES If you see a blonde, goodflooking young man walking nonchalantly down the halls'-it is needless to say that it is our good friend Charlie. Besides being a jolly good fellow. Charlie also has athletic and musical abilities. HARRY LOTHES One of the I.othes Boys. Harry has made himself well-known by his excellent performances on the basketball court. Elkins High will surely llllss him when he leaves. EDITH LOUDIN Edith believes that silence is golden. She goes about her work quietly, busily, and happily. very often thinking of others before she thinks of herself. CATHERINE LOUKE Catherine hasn't been with us very long. but in the year that she has been attending our high school we have grown very fond of her. Her smile ls well worthy of mention. Leake C. Nothing seems to perturb this brightfeyed girl, who believes in crossing no bridges until she comes to them. EDMUND MEADOWS That wellfknown adage. Good things come in small packages. ls certainly true of this studious lad. Someday he may be Professor Meadows. as his ambition is to succeed Einstein. Wliti knows? RUTH MEREDITH Ruth is a new comer to our high school, but still we claim her as our own. Ir certainly must be a satisfaction to know you have su many friends. THOMAS MERO Efficient Tom is one of those big, silent hef men. Elkins H1 certainly was lucky to get him back from Canada. JEAN MORRIS Enough cannot be said of lean, one of Elkins His most charming coeds. Her friendly smile and gracious manner have conquered the hearts of her fellow' students and teachers.

She is determined to be a doctor and she will he a good one, too, BEULAH KERNS Another good student who usually knows more than the rest of us. Her sunshiny smile and her willingness to aid her fellow students will never he forgotten. HAYVJARD KITTLE Hayward is one of those fellows that you never know until suddenly he does something outstanding. He will he a loyal alumnus of E. H. S. THELMA KITTLE Thelma thinks that if you must go to sehool. why not have a good time along with it, Vick's cough drops are good for colds, hut just plain i'V1c illlfa her very well. JENNINGS KITZMILLER -Ienningls keen wit, interest in athletics and limited knowledge of English IV make him a typical Elkins Hi student. ISA BELLE LAMB This prudent little girl is modesty itself and those of us who know her find she has a warm place in her heart for everyone. OPAL LANTZ Cpal has an amiahle disposition that would fit beautifully into a small bungalow with rambling roses. She will make someone very happy.
