The afternoon pep rally had lots of noise and enthusiasm. All sorts of prizes were given at the pep rally. They were given for such things as for the best skit, most spirit, best decorated car or shall we say cars, and for the person who wore the most ribbons. It was really a great day ending with the game and the crowning of Pam Boaz as queen. It started off with everyone having a lot of school spirit and also working enthusiastically to decorate the gym for the pep rally and for the dance after the games. We had an hour long pep rally with lots of cheering and yells. During the rally we had some speeches from members of both teams. We had Leisa Ritter and Becky Hicks talk for the girl’s team, and Dave King. Mike John. Mark Bonnell, and Steve Eaton speak for the boy’s team. The highlight of the night was when Gary Faubus set the own upon Leisa’s head, crowning her our 1976 Basketball Queen.
