Administration We are living in the Space Age. It is an age of motion, velocity, and the rate of change is swifter than ever before. Peo- ple have been adapting to change since the beginning of time, how- ever , we are having to learn to adapt more quickly now than at any other time in our history. The demand on people who are directly involved with the education of our young people is great. The challenge to teachers and ad- ministrators is to provide each student with the knowledge he will need to be prepared for his future life: his needs will be great and varied. It is an awe- some responsibility, and we at Elkins School assume it with sobriety. We consider it a priv- ilege to be a part of the future through our work with the younger generation. I am proud of our school and our students, and I am confident they will help to build a better future for us all. James K.
