SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM 1st Row: Sue Carter, Elaine King, Sharon Gregory, Brenda Preston, Joyce Collins, Maureen Ryan. 2nd Row: Judy Collins, Kathy Jones, Janet Phillips, Judy Gregory, Martha Cooper, Janie Paschal. The Senior Girls closed the 1964-65 season with a 20-2 record and claimed the District 1-B Champ- ionship. The Senior Girls won the District Champ- ionship by defeating their rival Mountainburg, which gave them a chance to participate in the State tour- nament in Lewisville, Arkansas. The team consisted of twelve players, each having a high athletic ability. Only two girls graduated in 1965, Judy Gregory and Judy Collins, so the Elkettes should have another successful season next year. The players named to the various all-tournament teams during the year are: Judy Gregory—County Tourn'y, West Fork Invt. Elaine King -Greenland tourney, County tourney. Joyce Collins— D i s t r i c t tourn. Janet Phillips—County tourney, West Fork Invt., Greenland Invt., District. Kathy Jones—West Fork Invt., District tourney, Greenland.
