Mr. Sypher May 21, 1978 Virginia Gabbard handed out autographed copies of her latest seller I Was a Terrible Teenager as a special treat. Cranston Cunningham, Elvis' successor, then sang You Ain't Nothin' But an Alley Cat , his latest pop tune. As I gazed around, I noticed Judy Karnath, the architect of Brian's mansion, listening to Kenneth Reed and Rex Boaz, bologna manufacturers, discuss a new process in that field. They were interrupted by Janis Jordan who was serving creme de menthe made at Ikey Faubus' own brewery. Janis was much in demand as a hostess at all elegant parties. Late comers to the party were Wilma Haggard, Roy Harriman, and Virginia Corwin. Although they were too late to enjoy the entertainment and food we had, they offered some entertainment themselves. Virginia modeled her latest creations in tin-foil bathing suits, (guaranteed to give you an even tan without basting.) Roy passed his latest invention around; pancake batter with jumping beans in it for automatic turning. This promised to be another successful invention for him. Wilma gave a short speech on the high standards of her Police Squad of which she was captain. The reunion came off very well, and I hope that you will be able to be with us at our next reunion. CLASS PROPHESY May 21, 1978 Dear Mr. Sypher, Since you wanted to hear about the Senior class of 57 and 58, I am writing you this letter as a step by step account of their latest meeting. The giant strato-cruiser skidded to a stop on the runway of the 3,000 acre chicken farm of Brian Jones, well-known throughout the world for raising Brian's Best Broilers. Yes, it was the 20th reunion of the Senior class of 57 and 58. As each of the important personages stepped out, Brian's private photographer, Clifton Gabbard, took beautiful Cinerama and technicolor pictures of them. First to appear was Arvilla Gayer, voted as Miss Body by the Undertakers Association of America. At her side was the well-known recording artist, Curtis Wilson, humming his famous rendition of Found a Peanut . Suddenly with a mad scream, out jumped Tommy Howard, who began to paint the scenery feverishly. He was accompanied by his favorite model, Juanita Standley. Next to step from the plane was Roberta King, mother of 27 children. As the group was about to board the limousine to Brian's mansion, up roared June Jordan, the nation's top daredevil, and her trusty mechanic, Lorene Standley. Once at the mansion, we all gathered on the patio to eat a delicious 12 course dinner prepared by Betsy Sage, prominent home economist. An after dinner speech was given by Wendell Johnson and Max Clark on How to Get Along Together . We adjourned to the drawing room where Loyce Webb, famed big game hunter, showed us slides of her latest safari in Africa. As the lights went on again, Ernestine Buchannan, coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks was complimented for the good coaching job she was doing by Linda Masters, a dentist who had often done dental work for the team.
