Time passes quickly and our high school years are the most important years of our life. We can spend these years in preparation of the future or we can waste them, but they soon flee into the past. Weeks of preparation, instruction, testing, and grading papers give each faculty member the rewarding feeling of having touched the mind of each student with some degree of knowledge. Hours of study in classes at Elkin High School prepare the students for the future. Monthly organizational meetings of the clubs give the students at EHS the opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities. Days of drill, practice, coaching, and faithfulness account for the great records that we have achieved in athletics this year. Years of service and dedication given freely by in¬ dividual students at EHS for the benefit of the school are climaxed in recognition of these students. Minutes passed by too quickly for the students involved in the many facets of school life during this year at EHS. Time and again vye ask the merchants of the sur¬ rounding areas to support our yearbook and they graciously consent each year.
