PROM i978 'lr + + '+: ir 1-, .+ - . ,- Milton Evans emceed the affair that followed the readings. The Junior and Senior Classes presented their sweethearts. The 1977 Prom Queen crowned Connie Bartee as the 1978 Queen. Connie then led the traditional sweet- heart waltz around the swimming pool. The dance can be considered nothing less than a total success. The DJf Brother John, from KFJZ, Flvl 97, seemed to know what was in the hearts of all those attending. 20 The Junior Class spon- sored the annual prom on April 29, 1978, at the Pal- estine Holiday lnn. The class chose We Are the Champions for the night's theme. 1 After dinner, the Senior Class' wills were read by Mike Sanchez, Vickie Saun- ders, and Debbie Taylor. The Junior Class' prophe- cies were read by Danny Fillip and Clara Cooper.
