M152 Zfsali On September 6, 1943, this group of Wkidsn came to Elkhart High, enrolled, and wandered from class to class until we finally got straightened out and elected Miss Durrett as sponsor. As Sophomores we were a little better acquainted with the rules of E.B.3. This year the class elected Billie Jo Estes as candidate for Queen of high school and Miss Glidden as sponsor. A lemon party was one of the many entertainments we enjoyed during our Sophomore year. Now as Juniors we have the responsi- bility of the Junior-Senior Banquet. We hope this entertainment'will be a great success and a credit to our class. This year our candidate for Queen was Lucile Gilcrease who won second place. We hope the Junior Play which we are planning will turn out to be the best yet given. Our Junior officers are: WINSTON TURNER . DORIS ALLEN GRAY LUCILE GILCREASE M. P. EDMONDSON HRS. BARNS . . .
