J.V. BASKETBALL ball for the I. V. team. Easy defeats and high reaching scores Qalways reaching into the hundredsy were consistent throughout the season for this EXCELLENT team. The University of Mich- igan was the first team to be beaten and they were left with ket, leaving the score at l3O-21a technicaly. It was the same story all through the season, of course. xx VARSITY Gi.rl's basketball in Elk Rapids is just starting. The natural talent and willingness to learn the game made the girls' team one of the better teams of the league, even though they were pitted against teams with much more experience. Win or lose, however, the team always exer- cised good sportsmanship on the court. Next year when the girls become more experienced, they could have the potential to become one of the top teams in the league. Good luck girls! Missed again !
