GIRLS'SPCRTS The Girls Afhlefic Associafion has sponsored 'rhe following sporis for infra-mural: speedball, baslcef ball, volley ball and fennis, fhe laffer Three being played simul- faneously. The foufh annual l-li-Jinks incorporafing fhe Toy Land idea was held March 8 and was well affended by fhe girls and fheir friends in fhe communify. Elk Grove girls have been fhe guesfs of Sacramenfo, Clarksburg and Lincoln High Schools for play days. The local annual playday was held on May 4. when girls from San Juan, Sacramenfo, Granf Union and Clarlcburg were enferfained wifh fhe usual sporfs and an addifional idea of a round-up playing a facfor in fhe success of fhe day. The Associafion sponsored a successful candy sale fo raise money To defray fhe expense of addifional leffer awards which had been earned in fhe previous year.
