91224 ' 12 enior Cfcwd lihdfory le entered Elk Creek High four years ago feeling proud and mighty until we heard of the on coming initiation. Nevertheless, we survived the traditional lipstick, etc. including the Freshman Reception, that the Sophomores so willingly pro- vided. After this, we got down to the business at hand and elected class officers. Our second year the initiation pleasure was all ours. This was topped off with the Freshmen Reception which was very successful. Having gotten into the swing of high school life we were able to cope with arising problems. Now, as Juniors, we joined the higher society of upperclassmenl le raised money in various ways and with our savings we gave our first formal dance--the Junior-Senior Prom. 'Wishing' was the theme of our Prom that was held in a hall which was decorated with a large wishing well in the center of the floor. This, our last year, we raised money by selling Christmas cards. With this money we gave our last dance-the Christmas Party with the customary banquet preceeding the dance. The days were happy ones as graduation drew near. The Senior Sneak Day was observed in the traditional manner as .was the exchange of announcements and pictures.

HOLLY HJBROWS is married to Jerry Spurlock and is the mother of twins, Penis Lee and Henry Otto. PHYLLIS BEDFORD is employed by Mr. Groves in Willows. IIARVIN CRAMER passed his Naval examinations with a high rat- ing and is studying to be a Navy secretary. MICKEY SUTLIFF is driving a logging truck for Kirkpatricks Logging Contractors. CLASS OF 1951 LEROY WHITNEY is recovering from a tractor accident which occured in August. EVONNE GREEN is married to George llcCune and is living in Willows. CARMEN ELLIS is married to Ruben Stewart and is living in Clarks Valley. BILL WHITE is married to Donna Rose Parker and is living in Sacramento. RONAID HOVLAND is unheard of at present. SHIRLEY BEDFORD is employed by the Glenn Gereral Hospital in Willows. LAVERN GILLASPY is in the Army. IARY STDJART is unheard of at present. ILIJISE JOHNSON is married to Bob Sexton and is living on the J. K. Sexton Ranch near Willows. CAROL HARPER is married to Leonard Gollnick and is the mother of a boy and a girl.
