WELZ Punk The thinker, Paul can well go by that name because of his ever growing know- ledge of electricity and aviation, Paul's desire for exacting information is sur- passed only by his clear, precise think- ing. RAYMOND A. WENDEI. Bud The possessor of handsome features and a build like a Greek god, Bud easily exercises certain authority over fellow classmates. WEHNER Eileen Cheerfulness is Eileen's outstanding characteristic, always smiling and very optimistic. Her memory and expression in speech will aid her in Public Speaking. Eileen will make a successful nurse. KATHHYN M. WICKS Katie Katie is most agreeable and very helps ful in any activity and willing to go a long way with the crowd in sharing burdens. Katie is definitely one of the gang . 23 PHYLIJS M. WIESNER Phil A talented pianist, who is often called upon to play for Glee Club and other activities. She is always ready to offer her services and to help anyone in dif- ficulty. Phil is a cherished friend and a loyal comrade.

SCHLODER Arlene Silence is Golden , and while the rest of us squabble and bicker over some trivial misunderstanding, Arlene sits quietly back, and makes the best ot it, With perseverance and willingness to work, Arlene will bravely lace the future. MARILYN E. VOGT Niddie A favorite of many because of her pleas- ant and agreeable disposition. Her posi- tion as a waitress brings her in cqntact with many people and thus she makes a host of friends. This will enable her to succeed in her future endeavor. VIRGINIA M. ELIZABETH A. STRAUB Liz Generosity and dependability are Liz's outstanding traits. WORTMAN Weezie Louise is a willing and dependable worker, Her invaluable aid has helped promote cheer leading, The ldes, Memo and various other activities. Louise still finds time to do her school-work well and is usually near the head of the class. EDWARD E. YORNS Ed Ridgway's loss was St. Marys' gain when Ed came to our town. He is one of the most cheerful and comical members of our class. Ed has good reasoning powers and if he takes advantage of them, will be a real success. 'UV ANTHONY A. YOUNG Knock Still waters run deep, is the most appropriate description of Tony. Knock is one of the fast diminishing race of pluggers. When he has a duty to perform, nothing will daunt his efforts till it rs completed. EDWARD ZELT ' 'Fuzzy' ' Rather slow on the uptake, but once he gets started on the correct phase of thinking, he plugs along until he comes to a correct solution, often ahead of his class-mates.
