Even though Karl is happy-go-lucky, he can also be serious when called upon to do so. it t it 5 PATRICIA A. O'DONNELL Patty The Silent Partner her quiet ways have won her many friends. Patty is efficient and earnest in her work and is willing to help others less fortunate in scholastic ability, thus meriting the respect of teachers and students alike, DENNIS N. NISSEL lake An active sports' participant in and around Central, lake is a member of the basketball varsity squad. Care-free and easy-going, he makes friends everywhere. lake is fun-loving and inspiring. THOMAS T. O'BRIEN Tom Tom's favorite pastime is baseball. He also finds time for other duties such as editing The Ides and Memo. An amateur now, he plans to conduct his own news! paper in the distant future. LQ., PHILIP I. PAAR Dagus The likeable lad from Daguscahonda who is full of pep and invariably good- natured. Phil has an undying love for nature and its beauties. A staunch church-goer, he endeavors to do what is right. Z0 ROBERT I. PRICE Bob Well-groomed, perhaps describes Bob the best. He is as out of his element in old clothes as a snowflake in lune. Bob is especially popular with the opposite sex. He will probably follow his father in the jewelry business.

LOIS H. KUNTZ Lois Well-developed student aptly des- cribes Lois the best, An alert student, a pleasing personality, a guiding beacon for less fortunate classmates. Lois is the type of girl that always has her work done correctly. IEROME E. LANZEL larry lerry is a combination of a trigger, quick brain, a well conditioned body and a winning personality. Ierry is taking the scientific course and will someday be a great help to his father in the carbon business. PATRICIA I. LEUSCHEL Patty Hard to beat in regard to high rank- ing, she will no doubt, have a success- ful career as she is the type of student who sets out to accomplish her purpose. Patty is outstanding in Stenography and has already received four Certificates for speed and accuracy. LOHETTA A. MARCONI Lefty of cheering up? Call on smile or pleasant remark many a cresttallen face or Need a bit Letty . Her has lifted up drooping chin. Her cheerful disposition is sure to make nursing. her friends in the field of MARY ANN MAWN Mary Ann Neat in her work and dignified in her manner. MCQUONE Chuck The silent member of 12A class, he is, however, an alert pupil. He sees the job he has to do and gets right down to do- ing it. His will to do, the purpose of accomplishing things, and his persever- ance, mark him as a good citizen.

PROESL Howie Another representative of the well-liked class, Howie has an inclination to sports and is a rugged participant, particularly in football, where he assumes the role of a battling ram, In school, not much goes unnoticed by his alert mind. ROBERT C. RYAN Bob Bob is best known for his hearty laugh. Loyal and intelligent, Bob lets nothing stand in his path, once he sets a goal. Bob should find it easy to cleal with people, since he already has had a taste of human nature in his job at lack Gross's store. DOROTHY A. SAMICK Dixie A quiet and simple girl who rates IUOCIV as everybody's friend. She is efficient and earnest in her work and is interested in the Commercial field, Dorothy has received a certificate in Shorthand. NORMA R. SCHABERL Norma A delightful combination of cheerfulness, industry and thoughtfulness, gives Norma a pleasing personality. Combined with a very praiseworthy scholastic record and the desire for future study, Norma's characteristics will definitely add up to SUCCESS. GLORIA M. SCHATZ Gloria A jolly person who is ever smiling and eager to make her friends happy. Her accuracy in typing will enable her to be a success. With her determination, Gloria will be welcomed in the business world. 21 PAUL G. SCHLIMM Paul A quiet, refined boy whose goal is to get his work done. Paul easily puts his mind to work and soon solves the prob- lems before him. Even though he is quiet, he readily expresses his ideas when correct for the benefit of all.
