14,1 QSC, ll is I Wmk DURING the year 1940-1941 the primary pur- pose of the Student Council has been to bring about a closer relationship of the organization with faculty members and the student group. This has been accom- plished through a system of committees. The following new committees have been formed this year: Radio, Good- Will, Flag Ritual, Pep Assembly, and Good Citizenship. Each of these committees works under the direction of a faculty mem- ber. This plan has brought the whole school into the council activi- ties. This, the fifth year of the Student Council in Elk City, has been the most successful one of its history. The spirit of the organization has permeated the entire school. At the district meeting in Anadarko, Bob Collins was elected president for the district in 1941-42. Mrs. Roy E.
