YEARBOOK STAFF The students at the right worked diligent- ly to plan and layout the 1969 PORTRAIT. This is the first year for this publication which will be the yearbook for the present students and a public relations bulletin of ECC for prospective students. JOURNALISM The Journalism 203 class of ECC is responsible for publishing the school newspaper. This class involves both lec- ture and laboratory work. In the lecture one learns the principles of journalism and the mechanics of newspaper publish- ing. In the lab the student applies the skills he has learned by publishing the paper. The staff is composed of members of the class selected by the adviser and instructor, Mr. Francis. CHORUS The ECC Chorus, directed by Mrs. Camille Hill, rehearses two hours weekly, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. In the fall semester they present a program for the Elizabethtown Women's Club and a Christmas Concert and Carol Sing at the college, as well as recording a radio pro- gram for WIEL. Before Christmas they went caroling at the Nursing Home and Hospital, ending with refreshments at the home of Mrs. Hill. Spring semester plans include a May Day Concert and perfor- mance at graduation exercises.
