Karen Harper Claude Richardson Advisor—Mr. Isbell The Biology Club serves in informing its members of professional oppor¬ tunities in the field of biology and in striving to further high scholastic achievement among its members. The Biology Club hosted several speakers at their meetings. The speakers included Joe Bruna, wildlife biologist; Modesto Del Castillo and Joe Isbell, biological science instructors; and a member student, Jake Karnes. Among the activities of the Biology Club were initiation of new members, a spring outing, co-sponsorship of the Valentine Dance, and active partici¬ pation in the intramural sports program and bloodmobile.

Drama Club delighted many members of the community with a fantasy dance scene based on an original interpretation of Dukas’ “Sor¬ cerer’s Apprentice” in the Junior Women’s Club Follies of 1967. This year the Drama Club is laying the groundwork for its major production scheduled for early spring, 1968. New lighting equipment and an auditorium by spring of 1968 promise a lively season of theatrical entertainment for the coming year. 36
