Dedication The Senior Class would like to dedicate this 1955 Terrapin to the Elizabeth School Board of District 208. They are to be congratulated on a job well done. The School Board is elected by the people of the District and have many duties to perform in order to keep the school operating smoothly and efficiently. They select the school superintendent and with his help they hire the teach- ers, help direct what branch of studies will be taught, make the school budget, and set the policies for the superintendent to follow. The board, in settling these and other questions, keeps the good of the school in mindg and they strive to please the citizens of Elizabeth whom they represent.
