For the members of the Board of Trustees I bring to each of you our hopes that you have seen the growth that has taken place at Elizabeth City State Teachers Col- lege since you have been here, and have taken advantage of every facility and ex- perience in your efforts to become an educated person. The last four years have seen much work in building the college, in teaching, and in providing for your living and comfort. Your lives in the years to come will be the rewards for the efforts that the State of North Carolina and the Staff of the college as well as your families have put into your education.
