SiIE4U91l'ILlI!I.?-IHIII LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE SENIOR CLASS 1936 We, the Senior Class of 1936, do deem it wise to unbend from our Senior dignity long enough to make our last will and testament before we put the frivolous and playful days of school behind us and begin making our way in the hard, cruel world. ARTICLE I. To the Class of '37, who are still wet behind the ears, we leave our beloved torture rooms, jail cells and what-have-you, numbers 1 and 2. Also we leave to the Juniors our ability to chew gum without being caught! Oh Yeah! Total for Senior Class 634 detentions! ARTICLE II. Robert Lamb wishes to leave his brains to Buford Mason. ARTICLE II. Emmett Sawyer requests that his neat, pipe stem ears be left to Edla Walker. ARTICLE IV. C. P. Harris leaves his tall, blond handsomeness to Edward Griffin. ARTICLE V. Billy Love leaves his ability to get in everybody's hair to S. Ganderson. ARTICLE VI. Anne Slaughter leaves her ability to talk so much and say so little to Barbara Hite. ARTICLE VII. Peter Haste leaves his pull with Miss Gordon to Jeff Ingram. ARTICLE VII. Elmer Eavesdropper Brothers bestows his genius in making Amo Tahitiu run on Boots Ziegler. ARTICLE IX. Jack Gard leaves his cave-manness and masculinity to Jack Jordan. ARTICLE X. Margaret Sawyer leaves her tall stateliness to Eloise Long. ARTICLE XI. Dot Brock leaves her pull with Mr. johnson to Martha Ann Scott. ARTICLE XII. Kitty Love leaves her lips to Gaither Aydlett. ARTICLE XII. Margaret Jackson leaves her loud but sweet mouth to Elizabeth Spence. ARTICLE XIV. Norman Hopkins and Charlie Ward leave their sympathy to the Editor and Business Manager of the 1937 Spotlight. ARTICLE XV. Last, but not least, the whole Class of '36 extends its heart-felt sympathy to all of you left in prison while we are loafing around. WHEREWITH, having willed away everything willable except our dignity, we, the Class of '36, do affix our John Henry on this document on this day, May 1, 1936. RANDOLPH PROVO, TESTATOR.

KUUOGQTI CLASS PGEM Eleven years have come and gone, And as we look back to recall The happy hours we have spent Within these well known walls, XVe can see ourselves as we started out, Like Columbus on his voyage, Little knowing what was ahead, As we sailed in life's ship, Courage. The teachers were captains who encour- aged us on Over rough and stormy seas To a port of honor, the Senior Classg And here the winds of knowledge filled our portly sails And carried us through examinations, The last of high school gales. Now that our voyage is ended And our high school days are through- May the spirit of the class of 36 ever remain with you. And when again we hoist our sails May we sail on and on To bring back fame and honor to The school we've loved so long. ELSIE SEYMOUR
