Some where in this world lies a man hilh :1 gutlty face. knowing he stopped a good tran from winning a race. This great man xtas our president In honesty and loyalty his life he spent A man with an ability to do whats right, he was willing to endure, work, and tight. The man with the guilty face, I know not But I do know he's sorry for quite a lot For he was the man that fired the shot ttho killed the president that wouldn't stop. Well 1'11 let the dead past bury the tiead. and please take under consideratton, what I'Ve said, HDOU'I be the assassin with the guilty face, never stop a man who's winning a race. 50 try and see. If you can't be like the man named Mr. Kcn-enedy. Miss Taylor has received considerable recognition for her composition of this poem. The Tragedy of A Great Man. She has received letters from the president of the United States, the Attorney General, several Senators. and presidents of various leading colleges.

It is with a great deal 01' pride that I congratulate the staff for a Job well done. This yearbook is a symbol of progress for the students or Eliza Miller Sr. High School. and may you continttc to go upward tn all other areas as you have shown upward progress in this endeavor. We feel that we should also congratulate all persons who have gtven so generously that this effort will be a success. Future classes will look with pride to the yearbook of 1954-04, which represents the largest graduating class in the history of Eliza Miller Sr. High School.
