PHYLLIS KROEKER, PLUM COULEE Where laughter is Phyllis is sure to be around. By the piano she’s quite often found. Wherever she is, she never is shy; When asked a question she has a reply. TINA TOEWS, CARMAN Tina is a joIly lass Although she ' s very quiet in dass; But in the res. she adds to the laughter, To win friends to Christ is her wish hereafter. ABE WIEBE, STARBUCK Abe is a sincere, ambitious lad, Discouragements seldom make him sad. In his studies he is good, And spends his time the way he should.

AGATHA HARDER, PLUM COULEE Her favorite subject is S.S. work, The reason we readily see. For a dass of children is her ' s to instruct, Right successful we hope she will be. HELEN HARDER, ALTONA Helen is the type that when she has nothing to say, refrains Irom giving us wordy evidence of the fact. Her home she has made in Altona for the Winter and the future remains to be seen. She is willing to go where the Lord will lead. I ELVA LOEPPKY, HALBSTADT Elva goes home for every week end, You couldn’t wish for a better friend. Of Acts she is fond, that we do not doubt, But Kirchengeschichte—what’s that about? MRS. JAKE OLFERT, WINKLER Despite the fact, that with the opening of school, she also assumed the responsibilities of a housewife, she does exceedingly well in her studies. With her smile she cheers up those who are discouraged. Enjoys entertaining Company in their home. MATILDA JANZEN, WINNIPEGOSIS Tilly is her name. She is a favorite story teller who enhances conversations and chats alike with her friendly smile and attitude. But—she has one bad characteristic: coming into school two split seconds before the bell goes. 43

WANDA PETERS, MATHER AGNES BUHLER, EDRANS Agnes, who is rather small, Seems to get along with all. A missionary she wants to be; She will make it, wait and see. EVA WIELER, ROSENGART Eva lehrt eine Sonntagsschul Klasse Und fährt dazu immer nach Hause. Ist dies wo hl die einzige Ursache? Wohl nein, was hört man in der Pause? Wanda, one of the girls with the bespectacled look, is jovial and full of life. Her work is usually punctually done and her marks prove it. The dass room air is intermittently filled with her powerful voice which is a contrast to her small stature. MARY FRIESEN, LENA Quiet? When was that? We usually see Mary around for a Chat. For singing period she’s always there, To sleep late in the morning, she doesn’t dare. GEORGE SAWATZKY, GNADENTHAL George has a mysterious way about him. He comes up with the most unusual things at the most unexpected time. When Public Speaking comes around, he delights in keeping us in suspense. The answers he gives in dass reveal his deep thinking.
