KATIE PETERS, REINLAND Katie ist immer beschäftigt in Musik und im Klavierspielen. Ihre Lieblingsfächer sind Das Leben Jesu und Grammatik. Sie wohnt im “Dorm” aber fährt beinahe jedes Wochenende nach Hause. “Katie, wo ist alles vom Tisch geblieben ?” RUBY PENNER, PLUM COULEE Ruby ist ziemlich still aber sie hat lebhafte Stubengenossen. Sie hat immer ihre Heimarbeit fertig. Am Wochenende freut sie sich, um nach Hause zu fahren. GERTRUDE HARDER, CARMAN Gertrude fing letzten Winter schon ihr Studium hier an, aber wegen den Verhältniszen zu Hause, muszte sie uns verlassen ehe das Jahr zu Ende war. Wir sind froh, dasz sie diesen Winter zurück gekommen ist. Sie nimmt ihr Studium ernst und interessiert sich besonders für Exegese und den Gesang. OLGA DICK, RAPID CITY This is the other twin, the one who wears the glasses. Like her sister she is talkative, friendly, and enjoys a good joke. She too has been at the M.C.I. and doesn’t mind staying here for the week ends. TONY KLASSEN, ROSENFELD Tony is the tallest in our dass. He is a very thorough man in farm and school work. As an ardent Sunday School teacher he has natural capabilities which he wishes to develop more fully here. They will make him more fit for the Service of God. PETER A. DYCK, SPENCER Sincerity characterizes this Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has given him the desire to study His Word in the following years at Elim and to prepare himself more fully for the ministry. EDDY FUNK, ROSENFELD He is a gentleman who must have his fun, but at the same time cheer the others on. As Super¬ intendent of the Rosenfeld Sunday School his objective is to win the children for the Lord while they are young. He came to Elim to be of better Service in his church. ABE SUDERMAN, KANE Spreading the sunshine of his smile, Helps make our life more worth its while; With it he can reach the hearts of souls, Shining the Gospel Light forth is his goal. MARIE DYCK, GLADSTONE Marie is a lively person whose laughter can be heard quite frequently. Her favorite subject is Kirchengeschichte, and as a pastime she likes reading and singing. Even though she doesn’t go home on week ends, she doesn’t get homesick. “Marie, who ate all the ketchup again?”

ELM CREEK Heinrich ist ein fleisziger Schüler. Er tut seine Aufgaben sehr befriedigend, um eine besserer Zeuge zu sein in seiner Arbeit. Er nimmt es ernst im Studieren und ist immer freundlich gesinnt. Sein bestes Fach ist Geographie. HEINRICH HARMS, STEINBACH Ist unser gröszter Student in der Klasse. Ist immer fertig mit dem Photoapparat. Sein bestes Fach ist G rammatik. Er will lernen, um ein treuer Nachfolger Jesu zu sein. JOHN WIEBE, STARBUCK John is the smallest boy in dass. He likes to be in on every laugh; In Bible Story time, alas! His greatest “joy” is the music staff, Ist ein fleisziger Student, und hat, auf die Frage des Lehrers, immer eine Antwort fertig. Er hat eine stille Natur. Sein Beruf ist noch in der Unwissenheit. ANNE TOEWS, CARMAN Anne came to our midst from the M.C.I. She is quite reserved. Although she does not live in the dorm, she is here to play the piano quite often. She is our regulär hairdresser. ELLA HILDEBRAND, PLUM COULEE Though Ella is a quiet girl, her friendly dis- position wins her many friends. We appreciate her tenor in the girls ' singing group. Her work is always neatly done. ELIZABETH HARDER, ALTONA Elizabeth moved in from Virden just recently. Living at home, she makes the trip to school each day. Her favorite subjects are Life of Christ, and German Grammar. She seems to take life seriously. LENA BERGEN, ST EPH EN FI ELD From Stephenfield this lassie hails, When asked a question she seldom fails She endeavors to get her work all done In spite of this she thinks school’s fun. DIETRICH HILDEBRAND, STEINBACH Er ist ein Student mit einer stillen Natur der immer eine Antwort fertig hat. Biblischege- schichte ist sein Lieblingsfach. Sein Ziel ist, sein Zeugnis im praktischen Leben auszuleben.

ANNE HUEBNER CRYSTAL CITY Since Anne made her presence known among us, she has livened up considerably. She has great potentialities but does not like to develop them at the board. She is glad she came to Elim. IRENE NEUSTAETER, STEINBACH Tall dark-haired Irene, Without friends seldom seen. She likes having tun, But her work’s always done; As a nurse, she will really be keen ANNE DURKSEN, CRYSTAL CITY Wenn die Morgeng locke läutet, steht Annie gleich auf. Ihre Heimaufgaben sind immer lertig. Sie fährt selten nach Hause, aber dennoch ist sie immer munter. ERNA DICK, RAPID CITY “Which twin wears the glasses” is often asked around the school, for that is the only way we can teil her from her sister. She is talkative, friendly, and enjoys a good joke. Having been in the M.C.I. for a few years, she is used to being away from home and doesn ' t seem to get very homesick. BILL DYCK, SPENCER In Bill we have a good natured boy. Although he finds German difficult, he studies hard to get all the work done. He came to Elim to prepare for the Service God wants him to do. HENRY Gl ESBRECHT, ALTONA Henry came to us after Christmas. In his spare time he plays guitar and sings. He doesn’t exactly favor the idea of telling Bible stories in dass though he does like school. He hopes that God will be able to use him in His Service. WERNER PRIESEN, MANITOU Er ist still und ruhig. Tut seine Arbeit wohl Er scheint meistens vergnügt zu sein. DICK HARDER, ALTONA Dick is another of the tall students in the dass. He has a quiet nature, but is always friendly. “Grammatik” seems to be a problem to him. LAURA BERGEN, WINNIPEGOSIS Laura left her Sunday school dass at home to join our ranks. She doesn ' t find too much time to practice her piano lessons, but somehow manages to keep the mailman busy.
