Student Council Acts As Liaison Just one of the many vital segments of the Elim body, the Student Council desires to under¬ stand in a greater way what God purposes for Elim, and to lead out in that direction. Dependent on the stimulus, correction, and support of the whole of Elim’s student and administrative bodies, the Student Council endeavors to work together with each of them in realizing one another’s func¬ tions and needs; moving corporately and in love into God’s program. This year the Student Council planned activ¬ ities and improved facilities for student recreation and fellowship, settled students’ class status, and promoted greater fellowship with other Christian colleges. Three class representatives traveled to Nyack College to attend the American Association of Evangelical Students Workshop. With God’s help and the school’s backing, the Student Council can act as a catalyst for a grow¬ ing unity and interdependence between the stu¬ dents and the administration.
