Elim Missionary Assemblies Costa Deir, Foreign Missions Secretary The missionary challenge has become more real to us than ever before. Doors are opening all over the foreign field; the Iron Curtain is being penetrated; and the Bam¬ boo Curtain of China is ready to collapse. For centuries the church has failed to keep pace in its missionary obli¬ gation, yet God is moving today and preparing a Body that will manifest Christ to all the world. Elim Missionary Assemblies acts as one of God’s many keys in unlocking these doors, and then sends forth men and women to walk through them. Challenged by the re¬ cent testimony of Brother Andrew and the call to disciple- ship in our Thanksgiving Missionary Convention, many of us look with anticipation to the harvest fields. In spite of advance in communication and transportation, the world perishes without Christ and without hope. Yet God’s method remains the same — the foolishness of preaching. May God help us to preach His Word. E.M.A. STAFF: Eva Leisups, Nancy Kling, Hayden Bennett, Sarah Bright. Saied Adour, Home Secretary 34
