Elim Life is Study The foundation of truth is laid in the Freshman year with such courses as Bible Survey, Doctrine, and Worship and Prayer. Juniors study a deeper, more analytical curricu¬ lum including Romans, Pneumatology, and the Cross. This is a year of growth and development. We catch a vision of God’s will for our lives and begin to apply His grace in the perfecting of that purpose. In the Senior year, on the threshhold of further ministry, we dig deep into the more weighty Bible doctrines such as the Kingdom of God, Spiritual Gifts and End-Time Revelation. In this last year, we choose one of three courses in which to specialize: Ministry, Missionary, or Christian Education. Our Senior year is much more than just learning the nitty gritty of the Word. It is a year of commitment and challenge. We become open channels for God’s grace and glory to flow out to others. The Holy Spirit penetrates us with the Word of God and then re¬ veals Jesus Christ, the glory of God in us, to the outside world. Mary Francis Lydia study in remodeled library. Bro. Elim Life is Prayer... We are the temple of God, and the glory of the sanctuary is prayer and worship. As the pressures of homework, exams, and other responsibilities begin to overwhelm us, we open the chapel doors of our hearts and God fills us with His glory. Prayer is the method, and praise is the mood of all issues of campus life. The burden of the Lord to our President is that Elim be a “house of prayer for all nations”. And the call of the Spirit this year has been intercessory prayer. In the midst of this fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we find that God is seeking worshippers and intercessors. America faces a crisis and God is looking for watchmen to inter¬ cede before His throne. On behalf of our nation, we have joined together in a twenty-four-hour-a-day prayer chain. As others catch the vision of the hour and pray, God will bring America to her knees once again. Faculty and students join in intercession for America.
