r Y -I 1976 Prom theme Tomorrow's Dreams E lida's junior class of 1977 presented Prom 1976 at Scot's Inn on May 22 with There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true as their theme. During that evening, prom-goers danced to the music of Harmony. This was the fourth time Prom was held off campus. Juniors chose Steve and Lisa Maxwell as prince and princess while Mark Kuhn and Sue Hatcher reigned as King and Queen of the Prom. Post Prom was held at the Lima YMCA from midnight until 5:00 a.m. Junior and Senior students who attended the party swam, danced, played billiards and basketball, jumped on the trampoline and feasted on chicken sandwiches and sweet desserts. . J ..c,f Carnival recreates 'Happy Days' theme S it on it, you nerd! This phrase and many others brought back memories of those 'Happy Days' during the 1976- '77 Carnival Talent Show on November 6. Co-masters of ceremony Conny Holsclaw and Darrell Bryan announced the 25 acts which included songs, baton routines, piano and drum selections, skits, and a dance group from the elementary. Mrs. Erma Miller directed the program. Becoming the new Carnival royalty, senior candidates Laurie Goare and Mike Leis were crowned Queen and King. Junior carnival representatives Natalie Miller and Chuck Moberly came in second place in class-money totals. Senior Chuck Lamberts won the raffle of the stuffed St. Bernard dog. Lori Max- well and Todd Morris represented the sophomore class while the freshmen chose Dina Nusbaum and Jeff Reiff.
