SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September, forty-three seniors returned to their last year of school at Elida. Since then, one student has withdrawn, and two new seniors have enrolled in our class. They are Norma Stevenson and Barbara Cain. The seniors chose for their class officers the following: Presi- dent, Max Cisco: Vice-President, Robert Miller, and Secretary- Treasurer, Anne Stevenson. A senior girl, Patsy Follas, was chosen by the student body to reign at the Homecoming Game. At the carnival, Marlene Miller and Robert Edwards represented this class. The senior boys contributed much in the athletic field. Many boys earned letters in all major sports. Also, Marlene Miller was elected varsity cheerleader. On March 27 and 28, the seniors very successfully presented their class play, One Mad Night. In order to earn money for their class trip, the seniors had a doughnut sale, sold greeting cards, sponsored a square dance, had a paper drive, and worked at various other things. All in all, the seniors enjoyed their last year of school very much and, with much regret, are now leaving the halls and classrooms of Elida High School with the hope that the knowl- edge and experience gained in our years at Elida will bring us much success. 12
