VY.-.-.Y .. . , ROLAND SWANK SUPERINTENDENT Bluffton College, A.B. Ohio State University, M.A. Problems of American Democracy and American Government I would like to compliment the Annual staff and their advisors on the completion of their 1952 Memories. This is a worthwhile accomplishment and will help to refresh memories of school life for this generation in years to come. School life should be a preparation for responsible adult living. Our seniors have com- pleted their academic work required for graduation. But they know that the Work of educa- tion is just beginning. It is a lifetime job which never ends. Graduation is only a milestone along the way. I would encourage all students to make their school life count. Develop goals, aims, and objectives early in your school careers. Know where you plan to go. what you plan to do, and how you plan to get there. Then allow nothing to dissuade you or steer you off the path to your goal. . Hard work, sincerity, co-operation, loyalty, and similar good traits will ease the Way to your destination. No goal worthy oi the name will be easy to reach: but with determination and will power, you will succeed.
