The fiue reputation of the Elgin Public School System is largely due to the distinguished group of gentlemen that comprises our Board of Education. Affecting not only the faculty, but the students as well, the decisions of these nine play an important part in our school lives. They are responsible for the selection of our teachers and administrators. Any changes and improvements made in the school buildings are made possible by them. They serve as Willing advisers when the need arises, solving the various problems that come up. We are very fortunate to have such a well-chosen Board of Education. MARGARET R. FOSBERRY No school can truly benefit its students without having an Adminis- tration whose sole interest lies in the welfare of these students.
