Chris Kobel, T65 pound class wrestler, was the only EHS grappler to reach the quarterfinal bout in the state tournament, Co-captains of the team were George Elliott and Floyd Radde. awe N Varsity Swimming Team When the final race was over and the final tallies in, the first swimming team in the history of EHS had competed in five meets and had turned in an excellent record in spite of its lack of seasoned mermen. Captain Ron Ultes captured the individual batting championship for the third consecutive year: batting .358 in '48, .3l2 in '49, and .403 in '50. Varsity Golf Team Competing against a field of autstandingly good golf teams, EHS linksmen failed to make a very brilliant showing during the season.
