Intramural Table Tennis Champs lOppositeJ Seventy boys participated in intramural table tennis this season. Thirty-four competed in doubles play. The winning team with four wins and no losses was, left to right, first row: Arnold Bochum, Wayne Bohlin, Jim Eclxols and Mike Seyller. Second row: Bill Rinnie, Gor- don Rager, Richard Landwehr and Herbert Smith. Intramural Bowling League Leaders lOppositeJ The leading bowling team in EHS intramural league with 19 wins and 5 losses was, left to right, front row: John Ulrich, who led with a T60 average, Richard Landwehr and Norman Zierke, captain, who is exhibiting the form that kept his team on top. E HS Intramural Sports A Program Is Mainspring! Gym Classes Build Athletes lOppositel A gym class, stationed here in symmetrical design, takes its turn in daily calisthenics. EHS boys also participate in many other forms of body-building sports, of which intramural activities rate high. Last year l,3O0 students competed after school hours on an individual and class basis, The intramural lad Lone who doesnt engage in varsity sportsl has the same games at his disposal as the varsity squads. -I nj R.: Nd Intramural Basketball Champions iAbovel The senior championship and intramural basket ball title was won by Norman Scibetta's home room team Left to right: Dennis Giertz, Coach, Peter Gilles, Dan Blick, Charles Carlson, Dick Bryant and Norman Begalka More than 300 boys played on home room teams durin the season. Intramural Volleyball Champions iOppositeJ School volleyball champions in the EHS, intra mural program were, left to right, standing: Charles Le Vault, Bill Lovejoy and Bruce Hansen, kneeling: Wilbur Schmidgall, Ray Mainard and Al Scheitlin. With 146 boys participating, Chuck Schultz was declared the school's champion by making 43 throws in 50 attempts.
