Mr, O. F. Patterson, our superintendent, and Mr, Merrill Stephan, our principal, are constantly trying to improve conditions at Elgin High School for both students and teachers. The position of assistant principal and boys' adviser is held by Mr. T, A. Larsen. l-le is always willing to give counsel and advice to those boys who seek his guidance. Mrs. Nellie Drysdale, able and cooperative director ol pupil adjustment, has personal conferences with the students to assist them in solving difficult problems.
