I Commercial To train the student to till capably a position in a business office is the aim of the Commercial Department. By following actual business methods as nearly :Is possible the Department plans to develop a background that will enable any graduate to enter an office as a junior salesman. clerk, or stenographer. Proficiency in stenography is developed, introduction is made to the more common office appliances, a working knowledge of business transactions is given, and the operation of a set of books is taught: the final course offered is one in office training, which applies and en- larges the knowledge the pupil has already acquired in preliminary courses.
