BOARD OF EDUCATION LEFT TO RIGHT: Henry Culpepper, W.E. Tucker, Paul Jones-Secretary, Dr. P.E. Fish President, Howard Doores-Vice-President, Elwood Haynes, T.W. Burkhalter. These seven, civic minded men constitute the Board of Education for the Electra Independent District. At its monthly meetings, the Board of Education, with their adminis- trator, W.L. Hudson, discuss such problems as maintenance of buildings, salaries, and budgets and makes many important decisions whicheffect the life of the school and the community as a whole. Because of their unselfish service to the school and the community, the 1955 BENGAL is dedicated to the BOARD OF EDUCATION.
