It is in the effort to develop this ability and on the hope that she recognizes greatness in her pupils that Mrs. Hair bases her en- tire teaching career. She admires those pupils who apply originality to their studies. The great out- of-doors holds a vast amount of fascination for her and she would enjoy making s study of plant life. Writes poems and reads historical and romantic novels. It's rather hard to believe that this teacher who is so feminine once lettered in basketball She says that was away back when girls had to be com fed huskies to participate in sports Care to meet many famous writers from Willie Shakespeare right on up to John Steinbeck and Earme Pyle' Well then, come on up to E H S library and meet first the most efficient libranan on the map' Shes been with us since 1941 When asked if she possessed any of the familiar wander lust and if Old W rld held any degree of mystery for her she said es Id like to travel But it's the II S for me She pla s tennis and basketball but as a spectator, its foo all with a capital 'F' top-notch speaker and plenty of personality and you have Juanita Hale, our very attractive History in structor Before coming to I H S she was both a teacher at L6WlBVlll9 and a stenographer for R E A The mountain air agrees with her tempera ment and shes goes in for plain old campin Her favorite pastime be :des reading, is associating with young folks She takes a great interest in both their thoughts and social affairs Football is tops in her estimation llir . l . . .
