1 THE SENIOR PROPHECY Back m the days of old when Bxbxcal romance ruled supreme great wxse noble and trustworthy men a Pharaoh Joseph Job and Davxd, had dreams that unvelled to them then unknown future I am far more lucky than those prophets of old for they dreamed only of themselves wlule my dream unfolded to me the future of most famous Semor class ever produced by Electra High After a very trymg and tmng day of study I went to slumberland and of the many dreams I dreamed I wxll relate to you the one whlch 15 the most lmportant I dreamed that ten eventful years had smoothly glxded by and all the semors were now thrxvmg men and women of the great busmess world Fortune had bequeathed them all except me w1th bountful success so I decxded to go out and roam oxer the world At tlus tlme alrplanes were the common mode of travel I made an appomtment w1th the best that could be had and made preparatlons for the trlp On the day of departure I saxd good bye to my old dog and Started for New York As we ap preached Bugscuffle wluch was now a thrnmg metropohs I notlced a gleat throng of people on earth all carrying flowers, old shoes and nce I mqulred of the pxlot whom I recogmzed to be none other than Bug Kenneth Gxbson what It was and he Informed me that he mtended to take on two newlywed couples at that place We land d and as the newlyweds approached through the hall of rmce old shoes and flowers, I recogmzed the famlllar faces of Bxlhe Jo Weaver and Horace Miller LaNetta Smulcer and Buford Nall who were Just now gettmg marrned after flfteen years of courtshmp From them I leamed that R S Vanhoove wxth hls wife the fo merly Lmda Alexander was cluef Jamtor m one of the leadlng banks on Wall Street Upon landmg in New York I bade the newlyweds farewell and started out to se the town Whxle loafmg on Broadway just as I notxced a very beautifully deslgned neon Slgh adver tnsmg the famous HOFER M1d Nxte Frohcs somethmg h1t me on the head and I went to sleep When I awoke I was ln a pollce statlon charged w1th loltermg and slgn r admg on Broadway I recogmzved ome of my fellow mmates to be Beatrlce Arnold Alma Lee Bagley La Nelle Fmmons Mane Hall and Viola.
