Common symptoms are as follows.: 1. No choice in classes. 2. Harassment by the juniors and seniors. 3. Lots of (egad!) homework. 4. The express ability to drop papers upon the hall floor. 5. The right to be trampled between classes. The only known cure for freshmanism is letting the disease blow o er. (It takes about a year.) Note, however, that the former victim becomes a carrier of it on to the next year's freshman, just as it was passed on to him. Isn't revenge sweet? A stop sign means decrease speed by 5 mph. 2. A yellow light means speed up to beat the red light. 3. Minimum speed on a highway is 55 mph. 4. School zone means maintain speed but look out for cops. 5.
