Michelle Story missed the first semester after having a car acci- dent the first of school. She came back the second semester with a back brace and a Cyndi Lauper hairstyle. Gwen Neeley and Pam Thomp- son took a Christmas trip to Ger- many. They returned with exciting stories and pictures for teachers and friends. At the beginning of the year, six students were missing. For the first time in its history, fewer than 20 people made up the Junior Class. Before the year ended, however, the class was 20 strong again. The class successfully staged Murder for the Bride, and a beautiful Junior-Senior banquet. The banquet theme was “Party all the Time.” Frankie Armendariz Teddy Bryer Lori Coke Lucy Coronado Barbara Collon James Cox Kevin Lewis Norma Morales Gwen Neeley Melissa Richards Dolly Rodriguez Vahc Sanchez Kristi Shumaker Michelle Story Don Armes. A stop sign means decrease speed by 5 mph. 2. A yellow light means speed up to beat the red light. 3. Minimum speed on a highway is 55 mph. 4. School zone means maintain speed but look out for cops. 5. Yield signs don’t have any meaning at all. 6. “Handicapped parking only” signs mean limp into the store. 12 306 Green Congratulations and Best Wishes! Common symptoms are as follows.: 1. No choice in classes. 2. Harassment by the juniors and seniors. 3. Lots of (egad!) homework. 4. The express ability to drop papers upon the hall floor. 5. The right to be trampled between classes. The only known cure for freshmanism is letting the disease blow o er. (It takes about a year.) Note, however, that the former victim becomes a carrier of it on to the next year's freshman, just as it was passed on to him. Isn't revenge sweet?
