Dedication II is with a feeling of pride and accomplishment that we, the yearbook staff present this, the 1980 PANTHER. 1980 marks the beginning of a new decade and it closes the decade of the '70’s. For us this is a period that holds the memories of the joys, heartaches, and experiences that go with growing up. The seventies have been labeled many things, but we prefer to think of them as the sentimental seven- ties” because they are the years that harbor our memories and our dreams. Because this has been an important time in our lives, we dedicate this, the 1980 PANTHER, to our fellow students, faculty and staff members, adminis- trators, parents and friends who have made the past ten years pleasant and beneficial for us all. The school paper, THE PANTHER NEVES, is published each week as a supplement to the ELDORADO COURIER. Tuesdays were dead- line days and everyone on the staff knew what it was to have a Tuesday headache.” t YEARBOOK STAFF: Leshia Randolph. Darla Goss. Cindy Mitchell. Michele Legg. The Pep Club sponsored Home- coming as well as Spirit Week and the Pep Rally and bonfire the night before. The Club also sponsored a wiener roast and hayride in the fall. Ten miniature megaphones were distributed to fans at each home game. These were pro- vided by the First State Bank of Eldorado. Mary Mitchell is Pep Club Sponsor.
