The Student Council is an organization whose purpose is to give the student body an opportunity to voice their opinions in the administration of the school. The Council consists of two boys and two girls from each class elected their freshman year to serve on the Council for four years. This year, under the direction of Mr. Charles Greer, the Student Council sponsored assembly programs, gave sock hops, directed the Homecoming, published a newspaper, and from time to time met with the principal to discuss various problems. H.S. The paper, under the direction of the Student Council, contained sports and club news, a crossword puzzle, feature articles, gossip, and jokes, The staff worked diligently to make the paper a success.
