On the evening of February 26, 1959, Rose Miller was crowned Basketball Queen. Miss Miller was attended by the King, Thornton Davis, Captain of the basketball team. Members of the Royal Court were Rena Hodge, escorted by Gene Hallg Joyce Fink, escorted by Jack Muckley: Brinda Flannigan, escorted by Larry Miller, the Princess Royal, Linda Mosby, escorted by Jack Fowler. The Court Chamberlains were Donald Wayne and Rex Holmang Crown Bearer, Cynthia Hodge, and Train Bearer, Rodney Harris. The Soloist, by Royal appointment, was David Reeves, ac- companied by Rebecca Wettaw, Directors of the Coronation Ceremony were Mrs, Everett McDermott, also Narrator, and Mrs. Gene Camp
