Student Council The Student Council is an organizaf tion consisting of 4 representatives from each class, two boys and two girls, electe ed their freshman year to serve on the council for 4 years. The purpose ot the council is to give the student body an opportunity to voice their opinions in the operation of the school. This year the Student Council, under the direction of Mr. Greer, sponsored assembly programs, planned school cafe- teria menus, and met from time to time with the principal to discuss various prob- lems. lt also sponsored a recreation room with music to be used during the noon hour, cumb, Joyce Schmitt, Jack Lane, Richard Brarnlet, Soph- mores: Marilyn Stea rns, Dwight Laffoon, Ronnie Can- trell.
